Change a price once, and it updates everywhere.
Manage dishes, prices and categories from your dashboard. A saved change shows on the QR menu right away, and the printed menu, info sheet and ordering screens come from the same data.
- Bulk prices by percentage or amount
- Price history with date and person
- The QR code never changes
Your menu data lives in one place
When prices go up, reprinting the paper menu, updating the QR menu and fixing the list at the till takes time, and an old price always survives somewhere. In Menuvola, a dish’s name, price, description, ingredients, allergens and calories sit in one record. The moment you save in the dashboard, the QR menu on the guest’s phone shows the new price, and the QR code on the table stays the same.
The same record feeds the printed menu, the QR-coded price list, the info sheet and the allergen table: when a price changes, you download the new PDF and print it. If you use Menuvola Orders, the server’s phone and the till see the same dishes and prices. If you connect a delivery platform, product changes are sent to it according to the sync switches you turn on.
Bulk price updates list every new price before you save, and every price change is written to the price history with the old and new amount, the date and who made it. Later you can still see when each dish’s price changed.
Menu and price management in four steps
- 01Pick a dish or a categoryOpen the Items page in your dashboard. Edit a single dish, filter by category or tick several dishes in the list.
- 02Change the priceType a new price in the dish window, or use Bulk prices to raise or lower the whole menu or one category by percentage or a fixed amount, with optional rounding to 1, 5 or 10.
- 03Check the previewWith bulk prices, the old and new price of every dish is listed before saving. If it looks wrong, change the rate or cancel; nothing changes until you save.
- 04Save, and it updates everywhereThe QR menu shows the new price as soon as you save. Download the new printed menu and price list; the QR code on the table never needs replacing.
What you can do
All of it runs live on Menuvola today; which plan includes it is below.
- Bulk price updatesRaise or lower prices across the menu or in one category by percentage or a fixed amount. Optional rounding and a full old-versus-new list before saving.
- Price historyEvery price change is kept with the old and new amount, the date and the person who made it, per dish or for the whole menu.
- Bulk actions on selected dishesHide, show, mark as sold out, make available again or move to another category: tick the dishes and do it in one step.
- Sold out and not todayMark a dish “Not today” with one tap. It stays on the menu, marked, and can’t be ordered; switch it back on the next day.
- Categories and subcategoriesDrag and drop categories into order and open subcategories inside a category. Deleting a category never deletes its dishes; they are moved.
- Excel import and exportImport dishes from Excel (.xlsx) or CSV: a dish with the same name gets its price updated, new ones are added. You can also export your list to Excel.
- Draft, live and archiveNew dishes start as drafts, and a dish missing ingredients or allergens can’t go live. Archive seasonal dishes and bring them back when needed.
- Required choicesAdd choices such as the drink in a kids’ menu or how the eggs are cooked; the chosen option is written next to the dish name on the order.

Questions you may have.
Do I have to reprint the QR code when a price changes?
No. The QR code opens your menu’s address; it doesn’t carry prices. A price you save in the dashboard shows on the menu right away, and the code on table cards and on the printed price list stays the same. Just download and print the new price list.
What if I enter the wrong rate in a bulk update?
Before saving, the old and new price of every dish is listed; if you cancel, nothing changes. If you notice after saving, apply the reverse rate or fix dishes one by one; the old amounts remain in the price history.
Do I need to delete a dish that has run out?
No. “Not today” keeps the dish on the menu, marked, and it can’t be ordered; switch it back with one tap. Archive dishes you won’t sell again: archived dishes are hidden and can be restored anytime.
Who can change prices?
Anyone with access to the business dashboard. On Professional and Premium you can also send your list of changes to our team and we make the content update for you. Every price change is recorded in the price history with the name of the person who made it.
Can I import my menu from another system?
Yes. Import your dishes with an Excel or CSV file: a dish with the same name gets its price updated and new dishes are added; those missing ingredients or allergens stay as drafts. You see a preview first, then save.
